Custom Academic Maps
Creative Design Resources has been servicing the academic community since 2001, developing custom maps made to an author's specifications. Our maps have appeared in over 50 publications.
Maps begin at $150 and up. Clients recieve price estimate and anticipated timeline prior to beginning any project.
When submitting a map for estimation, please include:
- Any sample maps that may be used for reference
- The time period in which your map is to reflect
- A list of locations and points of interest needed for each map
- An indication if elevation planes are required
- The name of the press or publisher and/or a spec list for the specific publisher
ITEMS TO CONSIDER
Scope - For example, often a small creek in Virginia will not show up well if you also wish to include Canada in your map. For needs of this nature an inset map may be the best solution. Inset maps may increase the cost of the map because they are essentially a second map.
Timeframe - While we strive to meet all of our clients anticipated deadlines, ample lead time is extremely helpful.
